Unabridged Audiobook
Loved it. Very progressive writing for a women in that century. More than a love romance. Downloaded the other 2.
So glad to find this series! Veronica and Stoker quickly became "friends" I missed after finishing the book.
very good story. well narrated. I enjoyed it.
I actually own books 1-5, but after reading the first 4, the break waiting for book 5…I had a hard time remembering the loose ends from book four. Life’s hectic anyway so it’s nice to be able to listen up to where I left off. My one thing I wish were different is that I wish male characters were actually voiced by a male.
Can’t stop listening, these characters are fantastically interesting and the old world mystery is a great escape from the day
Excellent book. Wouldn’t mind listening to it again.
I was disappointed. It wasn’t romantic in my opinion. It felt like Mary Poppins meets Sherlock Holmes to me. Dull story & too long!
Love, love love these books!!! I found them in my book club and couldn’t wait to listen to them all. They just get better and better; and the narration is perfection throughout! They’re the kind of books I will love to read over and over!
Fantastic book and fantastic narration
Not what I expected - I loved it. I thought it was going to be a typical period piece with a woman having to work behind the scenes, going around patriarchy. But, the hero does it all on her own terms and faces everything head on. A very modern woman.
Loved it! A Beautifully written and well crafted story. I’m definitely downloading the other two books available by this author.
Great fun read
Such a wonderfully written book. For once, a mystery I had not completely figured out by the first few chapters. The narrator was fantastic. I can’t wait to continue the series.
Leaves me wanting to read the next in the series
