digital narrator is irritating - many words mispronounced, some so badly it requires some thought to figure out what the word was, which distracts and detracts from the book.

The narrator was very monotone which made listening difficult at time.

The plot overall was interesting, but has its flaws. There’s so much time spent on telling the reader how good our protagonist is at her job, that when the ending comes, it’s rushed and half baked. The AI narration got on my nerves for multiple reasons. The narration was done in a British accent, even though none of the characters are British. The weird intermittent glitch noises were off putting and the mispronunciation of different words was odd. For example, “outages” became “out ages” and words like “decidedly” were pronounced like “decided-edly”. Some people may enjoy that, overlook it, whatever, but most listeners like a cohesive listening experience. At least, that’s how I feel.
