Book hit on every level for me as an outdoorsman who loves sci-fi. Narrator was highly intellegent and had a great interpretation with nice tonality the audio quality was short of perfection. I yelled "Yes. Amazing, Perfect, DEATHWORRRRRLLLLD!!!" and such nonsense when it ended arter experencing a wide spectrum of deep emotions on the journey. Highly recommended.

A real space verses land S/F. I would like to listen to this one again, and maybe find the real book and just sit down and use my mind to travel.

surprisingly good, I was afraid it would go Avatar style but it doesn't and it's refreshing. And it's good and for the time that it was written surprisingly, not sexist I. Enjoyed it quite a bit. One of the few books that I've listened to in a while where I was like. This is genuinely good. Well done, narration was well done. Book well done.

This book was awesome, I listened to it almost all the time I opened the app. I just had to finish it. The narrator was good, and the action was non-stop.Can't wait to find out what else this author has created as this was the first book I've read by him (or better said, listened to in this case).

This Author is very prolific and always paints his stories well. This is a part two but could stand alone as well. Easy and light this is just a relaxing trip into another’s imagination.

first audio book was fantastic

Harry Harrison is so good at his trade, that usually the Narrator is the deciding factor for which production I choose. Here, Gregg Margarite does his normal--which is to say excellent--job of it. These productions with top notch narration of a top notch author's work are my favourite. Listen to this series. You will be glad that you did.

This story is quite dated. The alien life forms mentioned are not described all that well, I mean there are some that are described more fully than others, but I didn’t have a complete sense of any of them. There’s a supposed twist in the tail, but I saw it coming a mile off…

Amazing story, but I feel the ending was just rushed through. To me, it just felt like he was just checking the boxes to make sure all was settled. Still great though.
