Unabridged Audiobook
The perfect blend of great story and incredibly tense sexual tension sexuality. I recommend reading/listening to the Demonica series first, it's sooo good, and The perfect blend of great story and incredibly tense sexual tension sexuality. I recommend reading the Demonica even though this book stands on its own, it's wonderful when they introduce/speak of the main characters from those books (reminding you of the exploits and adventures you've read/heard before)
I am a huge fan of the Demonica series, but I have to admit when I first started this book I didn't think I was going to like it as much. Initially, it just felt like there was a ton of world building to do to set the stage for the story. I'm not always real patient for world building. The funny thing is, if you can get past it a lot of times you end up with a really great story. I can see why these books are a different series. Even though we see the gang from Demonica, the author really had to build a whole new story with Eternal Rider. It was about the halfway point when I finally started to love it. Then by the end I was hanging on every word and remembering exactly why I love Larissa Ione. The characters in this book were very different. I love the way Larissa Ione writes a character who is good, but also has a dark evil side they battle to stay good. The heroine Kara was a unique character and I haven't really seen anything like her before. And I love the storyline and how it tied to the hell hounds. I can't wait for more.
