I only wish I had read or listened to this long ago so that I could have just enjoyed it again. Thank you to the eloquent, graceful John Slattery for sharing words as though written to be read aloud.

The narrator was excellent. The book, like other Hemingway novels I have read, left me wondering "so what?". It might have been groundbreaking back then, but quite predictable today.
