This was a very different book of action and romance than any of the other 60 books I've read via audiobooks. It took a while for the story to take hold and it was well drawn out( 13hrs), but toward the 6-7 Hrs to go mark, already convinced it was a good book, it converted in my eyes to being a REALLY good book. The scene is Kasbekistan and the business was delete or extract the target. - "guns for hire".
The male lead character , private hire special ops, was thought to be a jerk to women- rough and very deadly - layer it very believably. His best friend, also private spec ops and former Seal, was straight laced , all business and also very deadly and real. The female lead was a book smart techie who believe it or not, surprised all the spec ops guys. I really liked her. Not too tough but internally tough as nails, not gorgeous, but cute enough to attract plenty of attention!!! This male narrator had a very excited yet rugged voice and really fit the main character's rough demeanor. The female narrator did a great job too. If you don't mind a lot of twists and turns told in a very detailed way, this is for you. I really liked this story
