Unabridged Audiobook
normally I love this author's work, but I found this one quite difficult to follow even though it does touch on some incredibly contemporary issues from AI to gender futures, I think that the concept was good, but we articulation in the end, left some continuity to be further explored.
very uncomfortable to read as a trans person. would not recommend, especially if you don’t want to just read a bunch of trauma narratives. also has ableist undertones.
Fascinating and timely. Great narrators. Slightly sudden ending which was disconcerting.
This read was quite a challenge but I stuck it out, a lot to do with the great narrators. There's a lot of conversation in this novel, part of it very funny, part of it hard to understand (philosophical talk about AI). Main characters have depth and the links between the 2 storylines are interesting.
Great book a very different way of writing and really funny in places
