Unabridged Audiobook
One couldn't expect anything less than a Samual Butler translation of this unflagging magnum opus! Nonetheless, some narrators' orations were much poorer than others since this entire tome seems to be devoted to. one different narrator per book (chapter). Thus some narrators accelerated at such ridiculous speeds nearly to the point that comprehension became compromised. I'd rather choose one solid narrator throughout. . . If it were my choice
As somebody new to Greek/ Roman mythology and trying to grasp the rank and family tree of the Gods I had to look it up several times realizing the Gods were reffered to by their Roman equivalent and not the traditional Greek such as Jove or Jupiter instead of Zeus
Difficult listen Made more so by multiple narators. A story full of repetative descriptions.
Amazing classic! There are numerous different narrators but it was still awesome!
Read by a variety of different narrators, some of which are excellent and really bring this classic tale to life.
