Unabridged Audiobook
I liked the story. A bit chicklit like but the them, how trauma can effect you're life, resonated with me. Although the end (happy) was a bit simple it was a nice hopefull listened. I love the narrator. I found it easy to listened too her and her narration added to my listenig experience. She kept me awake!
Well written. Dark start- I’m glad I hung in there.
I enjoyed listen to this book and narration. I like the plot twists at the end.
A fun book, well done. You really feel for the main character. Narration was entertaining.
Fairly interesting story line with a few twists but, overall, I did get a little bored with the main character. Nevertheless, it’s probably a good description of how a lot of people go through life. It was an okay book to listen to while on my bike working out
When I first started listening to the audio book, I was ready to put the book down. I didn't think I would enjoy it. Glad I did keep going, as I really quite enjoyed it and I love a happy ending. The narrator excellent.
This book was so good. You fall in love with the character with all of her problems and find yourself rooting for her in spite of them. An uplifting read!
Good narration. Story is solid though also predictable.
Intriguing read!
Awful, superficial cliche. No depth. Unsympathetic main character, dramatising everything. This was only a smidgeon better than a Mills and Boon. Narrator mispronounced words, which was tiresome and the timbre of her voice sounded as though she was on Jackanory, narrating a story to children. Louise Voss is fr better when she collaborates with Mark Edwards.
Good book I enjoyed it.
I enjoyed listening to this book mainly due to the narrator. The beginning of the book was interesting, but about 3/4 of the way in the main character started to frustrate me, and I only finished because I had gotten so far in, I wanted to know the ending which didn't come soon enough for me.
This was an easy listen and I enjoyed the narrator’s accent. Finished it in a few days. Kept my attention and all my free time.
It was a little predictable but I really enjoyed it!
