Unabridged Audiobook
Not the best and not the worst. A little stale and bland but a very quick and easy read non the less.
Story was okay, kept my attention but did not leave me wanting to hear more. It seems it ended in the middle of the book. Marie-Ange had such a sad life and just when it was turining around the story ends.
Same story, new locale. A nice listen, but you do not sit in the car waiting for the chapter to end or run to the car in the morning.
I had forgotten Danielle Steel's penchant for making her heroine's suffer. A few days earlier, I listened to A Good Yarn. I couldn't wait to get in the car every morning. A Leap of Faith was a totally different story. I actually fast forwarded through some chapters because I felt so sorry for poor Marie-Ange and could not take any further misery. This is not a feel good novel and the "happy ending" was far too short.
