Unabridged Audiobook
This is a classic short story- cleverly written and enjoyable to listen to while folding laundry, doing dishes ect.
Narrator was fabulous! They will make or break an audio book. He made it!
An old, old story which means more to me since visiting Sleepy Hollow, NY!! I've known about this story since I was a child (back in the 1960s) and the The Narrator's pacing, expression, vocal variety and ability to make his voice sound like different characters really brought the story to LIFE.
Story was not the best. The narrator made it better than it is.
Just as I expected this original story to be, it was somewhat difficult to listen to the narrator was good it was just a difficult listen.
Extremely boring
We couldn't get past the narrator's slow and odd emphases, as another reviewer said. There were so many unnecessary pauses and lilting words that the storyline was lost.
A timeless tale. Well narrated and fun to hear!
Fantastic story! One of the greatest short stories of all time. Irving is masterfully descriptive and humorous. Narrator could be irritating: unnecessarily slow at times (especially at beginning) and occasional odd emphasis. Even so the story is so good it’s still extremely enjoyable to listen to
A Halloween classic.
I loved in general.
