Unabridged Audiobook
very well done an enjoyable
Great narration, clear and well-timed.
A biography trotted at the turn of the century. Well written and an easy listen. The Narrator does a good job.
Loved this until it got glitchy and seemed to overlay different portions of the books and switched back and forth every few seconds for several minutes.
The story was well done. The writing was great. The narrator read with enthusiasm. I did not care for the narrator's speech as when ending most words with a airy or windy release of breath. I better understand Lincoln and the civil war of our country. Thank you.
it horrible.
The book is very well written. There is little to no editorial language. It's all facts. The life of Lincoln is covered very well and in-depth. You will learn a lot about Lincoln and come to understand why he was referred to as Honest Abe. I can't say I'm a fan of the narrator. He's the same person that narrated The Autobiography of Benjamin Franklin. His cadence is off and fine his pauses to be ill-timed or unnatural. It's probably a personal preference. In any case, the book is great.
He was a great man
Having read only a small number of books on Lincoln, I found this to be the most excellent one yet. Excellent writing and narration. Had me enthralled throughout. A great new appreciation of a godly hero of our land.. the only regret I have is the narration being cut off early to two chapters
good insight
We enjoyed listening to "The Life of Lincoln" . The only disappointment was that several of the chapters would skip ahead to the next chapter before finishing. Other than that it was great. Thank you so much, we appreciate having free books to listen to, especially during this time of quarantine.
