Unabridged Audiobook
This was an adorable cozy mystery collection. I knew there would be magic involved since it's in the title. I loved the way it was introduced. Jemma barreled in and forced Raphael to change. And he forced her to live in the moment and do what she loved (or what she learned she loved). Jemma and Raphael played so well off each other. I enjoyed that in each story new people joined the bookshop and became part of the family, including being annoying but we love them anyway. Each story expanded the bookshop as well, which was so interesting. It seems like by the end of the series, Raphael will own all the bookshops in England! I loved the narrator. She did different voices and accents for each character and it made the characters come alive for me. I received a free Audiobooks.com copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Fantastic audiobook! This book has it all: a unique storyline, wonderful characters, suspense, drama, a bit of romance, a lot of humour - and magic! To top it off it is perfectly narrated by Charlie Sanderson. Highly recommended!
This was my first experience with Liz Hedgecock's work, and I enjoyed it a lot. This omnibus contained the first three books in "The Magical Bookshop" series. Each book was entertaining. The characters, including the non-human ones, were varied and charismatic. I am looking forward to more stories from this series and author. Charlie Sanderson's narration improved with each book. In the first story, she seemed a little wooden, but in the succeeding stories, her voice became more expressive. I was given a free copy of the audiobook, and I have voluntarily posted this review.
I'm almost at a loss for words when it comes to describe home much I loved this set. As a lover of both magic and books, the premise greatly appealed to me, but I was even more pleased with it than I imagined I'd be. The characters are charming, the mysteries are entertaining and kept me guessing, the mild romance put a smile on my face, and the narration is brilliant. As much as I loved it, and can't wait to get my hands on the rest of the series, I'm going to wait for the rest of the audiobooks because I can't do the characters justice after listening to Charlie Sanderson. She's absolutely perfect! I laughed, I teared up, and I didn't want it to ever end.
