Unabridged Audiobook
Just finished the book. It was an amazing fantasy story with an ending that makes me want more. Fantastic work by the author and the narrator.
This was a fun easy read. I enjoyed the characters and the story-telling style. The narrator was fantastic. I will definitely check out more from Casey Sutton in the future.
Fantastic new dark fantasy! The narration was amazing first of all. All the characters were uniquely voiced and recognizable without being distracting. Even more than the characters, the narration is emphatic and emotional in all the right spots. The book itself was a fantastic dive into grimdark fantasy. Good characterization, pacing, banter, fantastic action scenes that read like a movie. You are there, in the battle with the soldiers and the undead. The worldbuilding is vast, and without any infodumping to boot, and I can't wait to explore more of it.
