Unabridged Audiobook
Outstanding read! I will read more from this talented author!
Book was amazing. Reader was equally good. Highly recommend Memory Man.
Decent book, good entertainment, good plot. Okay narrators, just under invested in the dialogue seemed to me.
Not the author’s best. A very short story with a very long epilogue.
Have read and enjoyed other Baldacci series. This was my intro to a new character and story. Really liked it. Intend to listen to the more Amos Decker adventures. Baldacci is a great writer.
I loved it! Very unique frame of mind!!!!
Excellent read. I will be reading more by this author.
My first read of his material. Good stuff!
I really liked it, very good I felt it was much better than the last one I
It was a good story.
Excellent story up to the final connection between Decker and the killer. Seemed contrived.
Moving on to others in the series.
Great narrator, and good story. just not my style.
I loved how the story pulled you in more and more , not dull.
excellent book , cant wait to read the rest of the series ...
Great story telling!!
Entertaining read. Enjoyed the book. Narration had odd, distracting edits.
Excellent story... well written and different from anything I’ve listened to in a while. However, the switch from male to female narrator, and the cut and paste of a second males voice every once in a while for 1-2 lines made it feel choppy at parts.
it was a good book I bet long and some places but kept me interested
Reasonable well written, this book relied too heavily on odd and increasingly outlandish character quirks and psychological anomalies. There was a point where it was just eye-rolling. Nonetheless, the plot was not predictable and in that sense kept the reader engaged. All in all, there are better mysteries out there.
Poorly contrived. Stupid.
Baldacci is a wonderful author and as usual this novel did not disappoint. Highly recommend this book.
I was able to listen to the entire thing. It's like the author was getting paid by the word, even if it was the same words and phrases over and over again. It could be that the more popular authors no longer feel that they need to avail themselves of an editor. As far as I can tell, they are all wrong. So very wrong.
I very much enjoyed this story. The ending made me want more. I didn't care for the male narrator. It sounded like his mouth was very dry and sometimes for some reason his words sounded a bit slurred. Or maybe that was my thoughts and the wine! Lol! I thought the female was very good. Did a good job of distinguishing between characters.
Really liked this one and you probably will too if you're a Baldacci fan. I love that the "hero" is a flawed human being who has experienced more than his share of hard knocks. I'm looking forward to reading the next one in the series, and hope for many more.
Good book in typical Baldacci fashion..... A little convoluted and predictable... McClarty and Cassidy are great readers!
Great pace. Very entertaining. Enjoyed the character-development. Loved the fat guy
I can always count on David Balducci to spin a good yarn. I love the way he turns of phrase and draws a picture with words. I look forward to the next book in the series.
Great book! Hard to put down. Loves the suspense and mystery.
I enjoyed this book. It kept my attention the entire time. It took me just a bit to get used to the female voice for some reason.
Just my kind of story. Adventure, mystery, and science fiction.
Expected more. Very tedious, repetitive prose. Kept listening in hopes that things would get more "meaty". Didn't happen. What a snoozer!
