Unabridged Audiobook
The book was a great story, but the narrator didn't do a good job with the southern accents for all characters except the main one (Michele). The trouble with a single narrator is that the opposite sex's voices are usually pretty awful, and this was really bad for the people who lived in Bowen. Very grating on the ears. And you couldn't tell male or female - she didn't alter her voice for the men.
This book was a good story with characters who interacted well with each other. The author did a great job with creating an enjoyable well written story. The narrator did a perfect job bringing the story and characters to life.
