Unabridged Audiobook
Very good!
Book was good. But the adultery theme seemed unnecessary-- why include that? Narrator did the voices well. Open ending is appreciated. It would have been more convenient with a TABLE OF CONTENTS which includes chapter numbers, chapter names and at which Minute/Second-Point one can find the beginnings of these chapters. Such a table of contents would be useful for most of the books here on AudioBooks.com
Mr. King always delivers a suspenseful and intriguing story. Excellent narration!!
I think this story is very terrifying because of the claustrophobia that it evokes. I also read somewhere that the real horror story is that Mrs. Carmody is 100% correct. Interesting I would say that this is an excellent short story with the only criticism being that there was too much time spent describing the people and their relationships. It cost for too much downtime for a novella; if it were a novel that would be different. But once the action started it was terrifying. I won't comment on the ending, but suffice it to say since I watch the movie before reading the novella, I was a bit let down. All in all an excellent read. Will Patton is a fantastic narrator. He has narrated quite a few books that I've read, mainly for Stephen King, and his voice and delivery are absolutely perfect. I could listen to him read the phone book.
I thought it was good, moved right along and always kept my attention
