Unabridged Audiobook
What a difference it makes to an audiobook if the narrator is the perfect fit for the writer. Larkin and Austen are a match made in heaven. This is a truly glorious recording by my absolute favorite narrator. The wit, depth and emotion is all there. I laughed out loud several times and I cried too. I think Alison Larkin sounds as Jane Austen might have sounded - and what a wonderful addition the poems are at the end. I had never before heard them - and to think that Austen wrote man of them when she was still a teenager! What a treat. Thank you audiobooks.com!
