I loved this book so much! There are so many LOL moments! And I can’t wait for the next book!

I had hoped it would be lighthearted and well written as other novels narrated by Nicole Poole. The sample led me to believe it would be good. Unfortunately, I really struggled to stay engaged in the book. I’m honestly not sure what didn’t work for me. The protagonist just didn’t meet my expectations of a well developed and ‘believable’ person. She so often just seemed insipid. If you are okay with a book that didn’t really develop the plot enough, and without a very good protagonist, but is lighthearted, humorous, and has magic then give it a try. I was very disappointed. I very rarely write negative reviews. Just so you know, I try to be positive whenever reviewing a book. So this is unusual.

Absolutely love any book written by Eve Langlais and this series is no different it is wonderful and the narrator did an excellent job of bringing the characters to life. Can’t wait for the next book in the series. Naomi is such an intriguing character and can’t wait to learn more about her and all the other characters. I am voluntarily leaving a review for this book. Again thank you Eve for the entertainment.

Really enjoyed it. Like the little intrigue about Naomi and what she is and what are her powers . Like the hint of romance between the characters and what is the mystery. Looking forward to the next Voluntarily reviewed
