Summary
Iris Collins is the messy one in her family—the chaos bunny. Her sisters are all wildly successful while she can't balance her budget for a single month. It's no wonder she's in debt to her roommates. When she unexpectedly inherits a house from her great aunt, her plan to turn it into a B&B fails—as most of her plans do. She winds up renting rooms like a Victorian spinster, collecting other lost souls...and not all of them are human. Eli Reese grew up as the nerdy outcast in school, but he got rich designing apps. Now he's successful by any standards. But he's never had the same luck in finding a real community or people who understand him. Over the years, he's never forgotten his first crush, so when he spots her at a café, he takes it as a sign. Except then he gets sucked into the Iris-verse and somehow ends up renting one of her B&B rooms. As the days pass, Eli grows enchanted by the misfit boarders staying in the house…and even more so by Iris. Could Eli have finally found a person and a place to call home?

Could have done without all of the agenda-driven drivel. Characters were engaging and enjoyable but continuously insulting people who think differently than the author got old quickly.

I enjoyed it. I wasn’t sure at first, but it won me over

Cute ideas. Something silly and different to listen too. Did not enjoy all the binary THEM THEY…and lots of women falling for women. No point of them being thrust in to the story.

A few “convenient” author-created realities. Some bits were not believable and needed additional explanation around the realities of this world twinged with magic. I put this book at a solid 4 out of 5, (no half stars), but still a really sweet story with multiple, truly likable characters. It’s a heartwarming story even if the ending is a little cliche.

I didn’t realize it was a fantasy book. I couldn’t hang with a guy turning into a hawk and flying all over town. Wish I had realized that before wasting my selection.

Was a cute story. Did it really need all the woke agendas tho? I would have enjoyed it more if it didn't seem like something was being a little over done. My opinion and the reason it only got 3 stars. Loved the main character and the supernatural elements.

This book didn’t have much fantasy whim in it till later in book but the story line of friends made and love grown was a sweet story. I really enjoyed the over all story of the characters

This book was one of those typical boy meets girl, boy loses girl and boy gets girl kind of story. I enjoyed the extra supernatural part of it, and would recommend this book for anyone who wants to enjoy a fun romance.
