Unabridged Audiobook
I know it was acceptable for the times but found myself wincing at many of the discriminatory explanations used.
At first I thought it would be difficult for me to listen to the whole story, but after a bit, I was totally immersed. It was a fascinating story that revealed life through a language that was also of that day, so I had the impression that I was in the time. Of course it was beautifully written. I was telling someone that I don't think I could have read it and finished it. It was so much better having it on audiobooks. Thank you for acquainting me with these classics from another day.
