truly heart warming book and series
I cannot say I've cried so much in joy while listening to a book! Well worth the read and great 3rd book in the Wayfarers series. New, unique, growing off previous books, and powerful by itself. It felt like a compilation of short stories - morals - treatise on human (sapient) nature. The weaving of plot lines and science-fiction into believable and compelling characters is phenomenal. At the end of some chapter I felt like saying Amen. I am sad I finished it already. A really fun listen (by a terrific narrator) that is thought-provoking and meaningful while reading like guilty pleasure. Thank you Becky and Rachel!
Record of a Spaceborn few was good. Not great but good. I feel like it lacked plot unfortunately and related very little to the series as a whole. It felt like more of a spin-off. I gave it a change however because Becky Chamber's second book - A Closed and Common Orbit, was stellar. I definitely recommend giving it a chance. I wish this one would have been a little more focused on character plot and less on jumping around from person to person.
