Wonderful story if you can get through the changing and badly recorded narrations...

I love the Dr. Thorndyke mysteries! Good story, good narrators.

end with romance, which I know is typical of the period but always annoys me but a good read none the less.

Ran Mattison... very enjoyable story, the second one I've listened to on Dr. Thorndike's adventures. ( the other one was, The eye of Osiris) One of the things I enjoy about this author is that the techniques are Plausible instead of far-fetched.

The story is good. The often changing male and female narrators are disturbing.
