Unabridged Audiobook
slow and boring. goes on and on about his needing to eat and get fat.
I had to get used to Hobbs writing style. He is meticulous in his descriptions. At times I thought he was wordy and not getting to the point but I found that later on, even in the following books, it was a window into his character development, like when they were passing a forest on a boat and Navar was enthralled with it. I found that I just needed to get comfortable for a long enjoyable listen. The narrator did a great job. I wished Hobbs would have written another dozen pages showing us the reunion and meeting, you will see what I mean!
I thoroughly enjoyed this series.
I enjoyed this trilogy. The 3rd book (this one) addressed all of my frustrations with the Nevar, and explained why his personality and actions were the way they were.
A great finish to the Trilogy. So many twists and turns. So many victories and defeats. I never knew what was happening next even when I thought I knew. John Keating was excellent as usual and the pace was perfectly timed. Not the average fantasy series but I enjoyed this one as much as Fitz and the gang.
