Unabridged Audiobook
A fun swashbuckling adventure, well written late nineteenth century “pulp fiction”, marred only by a disappointing, overly moralistic ending that doesn’t sit well with 21st century values. But the dashing villain, Rupert of Hertzau, is as fun as he was in the Prisoner of Zenda. The narrator of this audiobook is terrific.
