Unabridged Audiobook
A subpar effort from a great writer. Full old west stereo types, story really rambled with no direction.
absolute rubbish, the author is very talented but he must of had a off day when he wrote this.
Cliched writing and characters, and the "horror" of the monster was never as scarily horrible as it should have been. There were many instances of animal cruelty and disregard. The dialogue was off; the Indians (they were called that, not native Americans) used complicated grammar and cliches that were certainly not of that time period. My pet peeve, though, was this: when you have already said that a horse or pony is a mare or a gelding, then you KNOW its gender, so why refer to the horse as IT?
