Unabridged Audiobook
Love the story, but it would have been better w/out the LOOOONG sex scenes. Both narrators were really good. It was an easy to listen to book.
a little raunchy but a good listen.
Good book. A liot of graphic sex which ties into the relationship story. Complaints about the American maternity leave and child care are in it. I don’t think the pumping breastmilk every 2 1/2 hours on return to work after 5 months leave is realistic. I nursed my son for a long time, and I did not have to pump nor nurse him that frequently at that age.
This was my first Jessica Peterson and I loved it! Annabel and Beau’s story was a great start to this series. You get all the feels in this book. Serious emotional topics, sweetness, a little sadness, bits of humor, spicy seggsy times, and a small-town second-chance HEA. The narration by Virginia Rose and Jason Clarke (two of my favorites) was sooo good! I didn’t think anything could top Jason Clarke, but I stand corrected. Southern Jason Clarke is…*swoon* I plan to listen to more Jessica Peterson books based on my enjoyment of this one. I’ll unfortunately have to skip her Charleston series because although I love Emma Wilder, I don’t like the male narrator for that series. He tends to overact most of his performances to the point that I can’t enjoy the story. Looking forward to the rest of this series, though!
I'm not a prude, but come on already.... This book should have an XXX rating. Why is it necessary to explicitly describe genitalia and what you are doing with it or to it? Aren't we already familiar this this stuff? Way too young for me. I feel the characters were in their early 20's. Just an uncomfortable listen for work atmosphere or around others. Definitely not my thing.
A perfect summer book to take to the beach. Filled with many racy scenes, it captivates your attention and leaves you craving for more.
