I'm a foodie who had a Jewish grandmother. I was born and raised in Brooklyn and later lived in New York. Maybe that's why this book resonated with me and why I found it so endearing. No matter what your cultural background, if you have a restaurant family, if you're a foodie, or if you have some wacky relative, I think you'll enjoy this book. Right before or after reading it, I'd recommend The Kid Stays in the Picture by Robert Evans, because the author came from the same neighborhood and he is referenced in Stuffed.

I enjoyed this book, the reader was very good, too. It was funny and sad.
