Unabridged Audiobook
Ok, but not life-changing. Sully describes his rather ordinary life and picks out the things that he thinks helped him handle a traumatic incident. Once he dealt with the landing on the Hudson I found myself skipping through the homely moralising to the end. I learnt a lot about the airline industry and what it's like to be a pilot, but not having been part of the "wow" generation who watched it, I cannot really connect with the reactions of people who obviously benefited from the feel-good factor after seeing a successful conclusion to a tense drama.
Love the book!! He is definitely an hero. I couldn't stop listening, this is a great book.
The story was interesting. I also felt the narration was very formal and found it difficult to connect with the characters, until the end when the second narrator concluded.
Great story about an ordinary pilot who saved 155 passengers. He was pushed into the limelight like a bullet. His back story & life leading up to to his split decision & years of talent in the air, his story was very good.
