I usually like Freida McFadden, but not this book; it was terrible! The first 2/3 of the book is about a 16 year old and her relationship with a teacher. The rest of the book is an improvement but doesn't redeem itself. Only recommended for readers in their mid teenage years.

This may be my new favorite Freida McFadden book (The Inmate has held that spot for a while)! It had me on my toes the entire time and I felt like I knew the characters. There were some great twists and of course the epilogue had me floored! Highly recommend, but I do want to give a reminder to check the trigger warnings beforehand.

I love Frieda, but felt this one could have been better, the was a lot that didn’t add up with the twist.

I absolutely loved this book. I enjoyed each and every plot twist. It kept me guessing until the last minute!!! Also, I enjoyed the narrator. This should definitely be a must read/listen to!!!!

Good suspense

A different slant on the usual crime novel and reflects real life of teacher and student interaction. None of the characters is perfect.

A good page-turner as usual but the characters were almost all equally unsavory and irritating this time around. Adeline's portrayal/character was an effective one of a young lady with Borderline Personality Disorder but Eve's character (although notably cold) was somewhat underdeveloped and ambiguously and inexplicably unlikeable. I was certainly taken by surprise with the identity of (don't want to spoil!) one of the characters near the end!

This book a rollercoaster of emotions. The plot twist at the end was mind blowing.

Lacking in a good twist towards the end of the book as the twist became a little far fetched but overall an enjoyable read. Perhaps not the best of Freida's books but parts of it had me gripped.

This book would have been better marketed to teenagers. I also found the narrator's whispery voice to be distracting and unappealing
