Unabridged Audiobook
Loved it. It was interesting and funny. I loved that she narrated the book herself because it made it more real. Her voice was so sweet.
Tippi is not a writer, but she manages to effectively share amusing anecdotes her somewhat interesting life; Ultimately, she got by on beauty, charm and LUCK, rather than brains, whit, or survival instinct - a combination that doesn't make for an amazing memoir. When finished and reflecting on the book, I realized that I felt like I had listened to hours on end of self promotion, and justification of poor judgement and decision making consistent through out her life... Entertaining, but far from profound. I was relieved to be finished, and I was not left wanting more. That being said, I will be (re) watching some of her movies to enjoy the additional perspective, so it wasn't all bad.
