This book tells the stories of multiple African American women/ girls who deal with life’s adversities daily. When choosing the title I thought this would be about a school but it is not at all! This book touches on racism, poverty, sexism and so much more that we black women face everyday. With there being so many characters the book was hard to follow at first but I liked it!
