Nice twists to keep you guessing.
Narrator’s whispering, quivering voice during tense moments was a bit much. Regular voice was great.
Laura Griffin is a good writer. This the first book of hers that I have read, but it will not be the last, she has an amazing style with her descriptions. The narrator was top-notch.
I can usually figure everything out in a book first few chapters. This one not so much. Her description of things puts you right there though . Great writer.
The story was pretty good, not great. The story had too many male characters for a female narrator with little voice differentiation to manage. It detracted from following the story.
Great book and the narrator was good, but I didn’t love her.
