Unabridged Audiobook
This was a good story and mystery. My biggest problem was the narration. All were wonderful except the woman who began and ended the book. I cannot believe the director of this hired this person. Her timbre, choices, and reverb only from her voice was just awful. You literally had to strain to hear her because she made this choice to talk so low and mumble most of the way through. I don't know if her mouth was right on the microphone or what but what a way to ruin a book. And it was just her because everyone else was clear as a bell. It's really not even her fault because she should have been told by the director to get into a higher register so she could be heard. Instead it was just mumbling. I actually would get so annoyed when it was her turn to read because I knew I was going to miss that portion of the book. Book itself was great though.
