Unabridged Audiobook
Very good read. I can't wait for the next book. as far as the Narrators, the female reader was too whiney everytime she read for Raeve. It was hard to listen at points.
I could not stand the writing. I listened to the whole thing and I still did not understand what was going on.
Was a good fantasy fiction.
I had seen several people through social media promoting this book. I read it, hoping to cure a book hangover, and found it disappointing for my tastes. I'm sure this book is a 5 star for others, however I found it hard to get into. I was on page 200 when I finally had the smallest inkling of an interest in the characters. The main character doesn't remember her past and you only know what she does which is part of the reason this book was so hard to follow. Personally I like a little more of a background to help the flow of the book.
fairly good book
Very underwhelming. It was a DNF after listening for 3+ hours. Very slow to pick up and I did not like the child's point of view.
Loved this book can’t wait till the next book comes out
My favorite!!! Cant wait for book 2!!!!
This book leaves me at a loss for words. I’m an avid reader of all kinds of books but this one? My goodness does it just take your breath away. The book itself is absolutely incredible and the narrators do a fantastic job. It does take some time to get used to the monotone like voice at first but you realize it’s for separation of thoughts and character and the character voices are beautifully done for the woman and the man. There’s are accents and I’d assume it’s only one person for the man and woman so you have to be understanding of those factors. Once yo get used to it’s absolutely wonderful for the experience. 10/10 I can’t wait for the next book.
Love the creativity of the story. Beautiful writing. It has definitely become one of my favorite books. Was not a fan of the male narrator's voice. Almost too deep to hear personality or understand his words.
Unfortunately I do not like the narrator.
Loves the writing. Very refreshing. The female narrator did alright, but it felt stilted and awkward, almost like it was old school text to speech.
