This was an enjoyable read. I didn’t fall madly in love with it, but I did like it quite a bit. I used to ride horses when I was younger, so I enjoyed that aspect of the story. Trick is a sexy as sin cowboy hero—that’s always good for me. The chemistry between Cami and Trick was smokin’ hot. There were a lot of positives about this story. It even has a good twist I didn’t see coming.
The only thing I didn’t like was the separation between Cami and Trick. I hate when a rift is caused between a couple and that rift could be mended with a simple conversation. Trick and Cami both loved each other, but both were too afraid to tell each other how they felt. Call it pride or stubbornness, whatever it was, all I wanted was for them to TALK to each other. Still, the author made it right in the end, and I liked the story enough to continue on with these characters if more books are released.
