Unabridged Audiobook
Having listened to/read other books by the author, I can tell this is his first. He's been gradually crafting his writing into the perfect mix of narrative, detail, suspense, and fear. I appreciate the detail he gives to each character and their individual struggle, but I found it very easy to get lost in the detail and description in each portion of the story. I'm always a sucker for a book based somewhere I've been, and this one takes place near where my best friend lives. So of course I loved it.
