Nice soft hearted book. Figured out the ending half way through. Nonetheless it was a great light listening for a commute.

The story line was predicable but very touching at the same time. One thing I hated was the constant reference to fat and weight gain and fat shame. This novel was extremely fat phobic and it really took away from the enjoyment factor. It’s really too bad that it was mentioned so often.

I couldn’t put this book down. The captivating journey of a ordinary life with love and loss that will pull at everyone of your emotions. The narration was fantastic in which only pulls you deeper into the journey.

What a wonderful story. I was done with this book in 3 days. Couldn’t put it down.

If you need a good ugly cry this is the book. As heartbreaking as this book is it has a lot of redeeming qualities. As always beautifully written. Theme- true love is eternal, never waivers and can be a legacy for the next generations. In true Sparks style- family struggles is the core of this book.

Yet again, Mr. Sparks brought me to tears. Such a fantastic story teller and very well narrated. A must read for sure!

I love Nicholas Sparks, the best author in my opinion. This book hit close to home for me.

Emotional story! Kept the pages turning! Seemed realistic for the most part!

Cute story. A bit predictable towards the end. I find the narrator hard to listen to. She sounds like an older woman pretending to speak in a baby voice. No other complaints.

It was promised as a tear jerker and came through. I don’t normally listen to these kinds of books but I absolutely couldn’t stop listening to it!!!

Not a huge Nicholas Sparks fan. I might not have chosen this book had it not been set near where I live. I’m so glad I did choose it! While I thought he got a little preachy in parts, overall I loved the story and the characters. Keep a box of tissues close by! The narrators fit the characters perfectly.

I loved this sweet, heartbreaking love story. I fell in love with Maggie’s son Mark. Will’s voice was perfect for this character.

I really enjoyed this sweet & beautiful story. The narration was so good that I could really visualize these wonderful characters. The only reason I did not give it a 5 star rating is because I found the story to be a too predictable. I prefer more of a twist & I was able to predict the ending. But all in all, I totally enjoyed listening to this story & I fell in love with the characters.

It was a good book, always love Nicholas Sparks. I figured out the plot twists (and I’m not one to usually do that) so it was a little bland for me. Great narration though!

Felt like I was a part of the journey.. emotionally charged.. laughter and tears..Narration was fantastic!!!

I started to listen to this book and felt disappointed. I couldn’t identify with the narrators and wondered why we were taken back and forth to the present character(Maggie) and her teenage self. Patience is a virtue! I continued to listen and soon felt a part of this sad, yet beautiful story. I loved this book and I just finished listening to it, I already miss the characters. Beautiful story.

This book is beautifully written and narrated wonderfully. Listening covers all emotions. Moments where I smiled, moments when I was sad, moments where I had to continue listening, moments where I teared up, moments where I was surprised. One of the best ones by far..

This book was a great book!! Thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it
