Unabridged Audiobook
Somewhat endearing; I did have a few laughs. Carrie is full of insight, honesty, and is a decent narrator. I do agree with the previous reviews regarding the "laundry list" of celebrity problems. I wouldn't read it again, but I don't regret having listened to it.
Not great. Had interesting parts. Focused on her mental illness and addiction. I found the Princess Diarist to be better. It didn’t have much about Star Wars in it.
This was good just more along views I’m not in alignment with. Nothing the writer did wrong.
OK. A life of a manic depressive and it sounds like it's in Carrie's voice. She seems not to have enjoyed herself in Star Wars at all.
I LOVE this book!!! I loved reading it, and then hearing Carrie read her own words in this audio book. She's amazing. I highly recommend it!
I agree that CF isn't the best narrator, however think she's been through a lot and it reflects in her voice so maybe we should give her a break...?! I thought the book was interesting enough. Worth it to me.
Really terrible (especially the audiobook version). The author tries desperately to be funny but just isn't and her narration voice is beyond nagging. I did enjoy her impersonations of her mother and she has a somewhat interesting story when she's not going on and on about herself; which is the entire book.
I'm a huge Carrie Fisher fan and loved hearing her story. Her sense of humor and delivery of jokes made this audiobook a lot more entertaining than it might have been if I read it.
A great listen! Carrie is funny and entertaining to listen to but you also learn a deeper understanding of the darker depths of this famous face.
