I normally like psychological thrillers and I have enjoyed some or her previous books. This one was just intolerable. The writing was horrendous and the male narrator was like nails on a chalkboard

It was bad on many levels. I couldn’t finish it.

I can not tell you how this book ends. The first half was so bad I had to stop. I think I might have downloaded a cheap teen romance novel. Don’t waste your time.

I really couldn’t get into this book. It was so slow and really had no concept. It was just a bad storyline to me.

I love thrillers that surprise me, shock me and had the most insane plot twists… but unfortunately this book wasn’t any of those things. Don’t get me wrong I enjoyed my time with this book but is was too predictable and almost comical how obvious this whole story was. Overall it was a quick read, I enjoyed it but I would liked it better if it had some surprising twists. This is the type of book that I never going to think about ever again.

Had a slow burn,,building a blindsiding turn. A twist I did not see coming to end this story

I wanted to like this story but I had a hard time with Calvin's voice. A lot of the storyline was predictable- I won't give any details away. I enjoy Jeneva Rose's books. This was not my favorite.

This is such a difficult listen. The audio goes back and forth between the characters, and not based on the writing but rather the audio is like skipping, fast-forwarding, and rewinding constantly after about an hour in. The male's voice is extremely cringe and I only enjoy the book when the female narrator is speaking. I feel and envision everything she speaks but when male speaks I cannot help but the shudder. This books begins as some horrible romance, the language is very corny and basic, I was laughing when there was nothing comedic there. LOL! I don't know if the book is bad or the narration or both but I'm gonna stop here at 7.

This was my first book. I enjoyed the story, especially the twist at the end.

Dreadful male narrator!! He speaks with an unrealistic, cheesy cadence. I was cringing so much and couldn't get into the story because of it. The female narrator was great in contrast.

I had a hard start in the book, I thought it was gonna be like a romance thing. But man getting to that last 2 hours. I was shocked! Great ending!
